Here it comes. Any chance it passes through early?

Looks like rain clouds will start developing well ahead of the actual front. The moisture from the Gulf is already spawning storms and it hasn't even started to warm up yet. I'd expect off and on rain from 3 pm until she passes through.

There's talk of a secondary low forming in Alabama moving NW. uhoh....let's face it, this is the only drama we have on Egg Bowl day. I've been running numbers all night but rainy game could reduce efforts to, "who is best at kicking game" [WIBAKG] don't forget that.

And, who was the dufus that scheduled at night game... forHouston's sake? This time of year the days are short, the evenings dark, damp, and dreary, precluding a disaster?I hope not!

But yes this game always seems to be played in cold wet conditions. I can remembered more Egg Bowls being raining that not. Have only missed one since 2000. (Crooms last head coaching display).

Hardest rain we've had in over a year. Should be a sloppy game if it arrives in time.

.2 inches over 8 hours isn't very heavy. Here is the weather graph for Starkville.
