because last year the SEC East lost every game to Bama, LSU, Ark, Auburn AND MSU and this year it was the same for games against Bama, LSU, Ark and Auburn minus Georgia beating Auburn (Aub still punked FL and SC). Nobody here said MSU was comparable to the SEC elite but you are stretching big time to put us in the same ****** category with you guys right now.
The guy made a statement about OM not out scoring msu man time and I simply responded only 19 more times. So OM isn't allowed to have a past but msu is. Doesn't sound quite fair does it. Despite ya'lls recent succsess in the Egg Bowl msu has only won more Egg Bowls than OM in one decade since the 1920's. During the 1990's msu won 6 out of the 10 Egg Bowls. In the 00's OM won 6 out of 10 Egg Bowls. Enjoy your time now because just like ya'll got better and we got worse the cycle will switch. It always has and it always will.
If you want to brag about winning championships and brag about getting 5 star players, then go prove yourself. State has proven nothing to me. If you want to be considered a big boy then go win big boy games and then maybe you will earn some respect from ole miss fans. But seriously, you guys talk about how you're winning the recruiting battle right now...ok...well go prove you can compete with these players. You guys get your feelings hurt when things are put into perspective. Oh, but wait, this is the SEC, moreover, the SEC west...I don't give a damn. You just hired a Coach from the Sunbelt who has been coaching for 6 years, you don't have an AD and that is an actual improvement from Pete Boone, half your fan base is pissed because they can't have the Rebel back, it's nearly January and you only have 10 commits, and Freeze's staff is looking to be a bunch of also rans and nobodys.

I'm just still not impressed...you barely got to 6 wins this season, sneaked a win in against La Tech in overtime and only scored 21 on UAB. This kind of performance is just not worthy of any praise in my opinion. Like I said, ole miss sucks right now and compared to our brothers in the conference, you guys do too. I mean, I'm just simply not impressed. The way it sounds to me is that you guys are well pleased of your performance. I'm just not getting it. We suck. We fired our coach. We fired our AD. Time for a new beginning. Simple as that.
to your #2- we were right- it was a toxic situation...and everybody outside of the Oxford city limits knew you couldnt win more than 4 games this past season. Farvuh is leaving because he now realizes he wont be the starter. And nobody here has painted him out to be a saint- his failed drug tests have been noted. And our situation is the exact opposite of where you guys are currently. Farvuh also didnt threaten to quit 4 different times and miss practice because of it....not to mention he took his his redshirt season like a man. <div>

When recruiting is going well - we are quoting rankings. When it sucks, we got the diamonds in the rough. Right now - we are looking at rankings.
And please don't compare Quay Evans's 9th grade commitment to Ole Miss to CJ Johnson and when he got his lanyard ripped off his neck at the Egg Bowl in Oxford because he was cheering for MSU.

Sure we were 6-6 this year and that was a little disappointing considering most of the pundits pegged us for a 7-5 team; but to lump us in with the dumpster fire in Oxford is laughable at best. Mullen is 0-12 against the west, granted; but you are 1-18 in your last 19 SEC games, so not only are you not beating teams from the west, you are getting skull humped by the likes of Vandy in the east. Not only that, you have dropped a 17ing buck shot in the SEC win column twice in the last five years and only managed one SEC win in another year during the same period of time.
The simple fact of the matter remains, Mullen has won every game he was supposed to since he has been in Starkville save for the Houston game in 2009. You have lost to countless teams you were not supposed to lose to, Jacksonville State, La Tech, Vandy etc. We are turning things around "the right way": win games you are supposed to, build depth by redshirting, go to bowls in consecutive years, and recruit well (this is starting to get better). You on the other hand are utterly deplete of any meaningful or talented depth at any position except maybe LB. You have no QB. You have a craptastic OL. You have a few nice skill position players that have problems going to class. You have no RB. You have a slow and undersized DL. You have decent LBs. And you have a slow and ****** secondary.

huh? I thought we had already debunked that garbage. 2-3 years we've had Mullen in Starkville, OM hasn't won an SEC West game either. Here lately, Ole Miss hasn't won an SEC game.
I believe every Ole Miss fan knows that Quay has been leaning towards State for around a year or so.
