Here's an idea for the Jumbotron

After seeing all the videos posted recently on youtube I think it would be a great idea by the athletic department to hold competitions weekly or however long the intervals should be for these video producers. The competition would be for best video and then they play the winner's video of each competition during our home games. After seeing the kind of effort and quality put on display there is no telling how much better the videos could be if they knew their video(s) could reward them.

I'd like to know who the voting committee would consist of before signing off on this. Great idea if you have the right people voting. Could turn out very badly with the wrong ones. Now, if they were to put it online and let the people vote for the winner, it would be awesome.

sounds like a good idea. I also vote to place a picture of Cam Newton on the Jumbotron for the Auburn game with the cowbell.

And leave it to the fans to decide. I wish they would do something like this because there have been several great videos and it would do them justice by playing one on the jumbotron weekly.

I think the school might be responsible for any Copyright infringement. A lot of these videos are splices of copyrighted material. I can see that being the ONLY drawback from THE University's standpoint.
