You have been listing coaches names for 3-4 years you felt we could land that are HEAD coaches, and Now you are gung-ho for an assistant.

If it was up to YOU, Coach34 would you want an assistant before a head coach who has experience.

FWIW Dooley was 51-53 in 4 years at East Carolina in the late 90's

This guy is one candidate of 20 we have right now...I want the best fit for our program- it doesnt have to be the best name. But rest assured, we have some names we are talking to

Georgia could have hired a head coach from somewhere when they hired Mark Richt. And he's been the most successful coach in their history. Sometimes the best man for the job is a head coach, and sometimes the best man is an assistant. I like what Scott said when he said that we're not looking for a young coach or an old coach or a head coach or an assistant or a coach at a big school or a coach at a small school. We're looking for a coach who can win at MSU. And wherever he is, we're going to find him.
