flipping thru the channels and noticed the making of NCAA 2013. And to my surprise, what do I see. They segment showed EA sports at Adidas headquarters and how they work with Adidas to get the real uniforms even before the season starts. Paused the TV and took some quick snapshots. Best I could do in a hurry. edited to add one more pic.

Why is the color of the maroon jersey and maroon pants so different? Our "maroon" jerseys are the same color as Alabama's.

Never been a fan of the infamous grey/silver talk, but I like how it's been implemented as a accent. The maroon looks good, and I think this will work well with the new helmets that have been previously shown. Also digging the white/maroon away jersey. This will be the only and last time I will post on unis. It's time to play the game!

what you can't see in the segment is them setting up the jersey's for a photo shoot. So they had like special lighting on them. That's all. I would imagine in the same light it will look the same.

but it might grow on me. Seeing them live is always a lot different, so we'll see.

They are definitely an upgrade, probably best since Nike and the MSJ logo.

Google the Texas a&m uni's to get an idea of what they look like on real people.

I'm just confused why Adidas decided to give both us and TAMU stripes. Seems a little strange even if theirs is a double stripe and ours is a single. Give me white facemasks on top of these and I'll be happy...

If the colors of the pants and jersey are indeed the same, then I think they look good. Keep in mind that no football Player is wearing them in the pics. Thus they dont really look right. I think they will look much much better when they are filled out by a human being. How they fit the players is usually half of the look test anyway

Other than that and the awkward stripe, which I hate, and they're ok. Seems like a whole lot of build up for not so much of a difference.....unless they break out gray helmets and/or gray pants. I would love gray pants and gray helmets as alternates.

ETA: I agree that Chillbilly > Adidas if this is indeed what we've been waiting for.

I bet the athletic dept is pissed. Not to mention the ****** shoulder stripe is a bummer.

I'm just saying I'd be mad at Adidas. The uniforms in themselves are pretty cool, but they're so similar to A&M's it's ridiculous. And this is the second time Adidas has done this to y'all, yours and Arkansas' uniforms were exact replicas of each other in 2009.

The pants look fantastic. The white top with maroon lettering looks great.

Only thing I hate is when the numbers of the front of a jersey get all stretched - seems that a lot of the "special" types of jerseys from each manufacturer tend to do that.

Could do without the shoulder stripe, but not a big deal.

I Did see where Malcolm Johnson tweeted we were getting 3 new jerseys...so maybe #3 will be the savior of this botched and underwhelming announcement?

Just saw the white jersey with maroon stripe....I love it. That's the only one I like though.

from what I can tell. One change I would make is to take away the framing lines above and below Mississippi and the banner behind State so it would just be Mississippi State.
