I'm honestly not sure that Tony Dungy deserves quite as much credit he gets, either. Make him the head coach of the Patriots and Belichick the head coach of the Colts for the past decade and tell me that doesn't change both teams' playoff records considerably. Hell, Belichick and the Pats somehow made Matt Cassel look like Brady Lite.

All of the hoodie's HC success has been with Tom Brady at QB. He has a losing record without Brady as a starter.

they are REALLY bad as well.. they already have their QB, but they could entertain trade offers for that #1 pick and allow someone else to swoop in and steal Luck.

Dungy and Caldwell both are supposed to be defensive minds and the Colts have mostly stunk at defense, too. Peyton Manning's not exactly chopped liver, and all of Dungy's high level success came with Manning at QB. Again, remember Cassel looked like a world beater at NE and has looked mostly awful since his move to KC. Brady is by no means a "system quarterback" but he does benefit from playing in a great system. <div>
