Ellis will commit to stopping the run and make us beat them through the air. Until we make them respect the pass they will stuff the box. Then on 3rd and long they will bring the house and tyler will take hits. We're like the easiest team to plan for. If I'm ellis I'm relaxed this week.

Solutions? Get the ball the jameon and perk in the flats and underneath. That'll then open things up. The game comes down to can we stay a step ahead of ellis. That is all.

you know i wish mullen would watch the way the saints use Sproles. The don't make him run between the tackles like he's 17'n 230 lbs. Give it to perkins in the flats and underneath and watch him run. Same with Jameon, like you said. I just dont understand why everyone else can see this but Mullen is like a broken record. Quoting Einstein, " doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity. Our coach must be 17'n certifiable then

i dont get it either. for somebody that was once proclaimed as an offensive guru, mullen sure has forgotten a lot of **** that made him successful to this point. sigh...the promise of a new, innovative offense in its death throws in starkville, ms in favor of some poor man's pro-style offense with clueless coordinators incapable or unwilling to see the obvious. that about sums it up.

Hey now, we did run a bubble screen to Jameon vs Alcorn. Sure, it was incomplete, but...

Seriously though, it seemed like our play calls this week looked a lot more like they did a few years ago. Read option, bubble screens, etc. hope that trend continues, no matter who is QB.
