Hermitage/Bedwell

From what I understand, Earl Kinney is the interim Head Coach and there is no timetable for Bedwell's return at this point.
One of my Richmond sources who I trust told me he felt Kinney was the perfect guy on an interim tag, and several of the coaches on staff were with Bedwell before, so that helps from a continuity standpoint.

Thanks - I did not know if he was back coaching yet or not. Hopefully this info doesn't get back to the Hermitage players and becomes a distraction. Then again I guess they already know if he is there coaching them or not.
Last thing made public was he was on administrative leave. I do not believe that will change till this is over as Henrico County will not want to take that chance of setting a bad precedent or criticism for that matter.
The Panthers are playing surprisingly well for the bomb that dropped just before the season was to begin. I do not know a lot of teams that would be able to overcome this distraction. That is a credit to interim Coach Kinney and the entire staff with keeping them focused in addition to keeping the Panthers buying into what Bedwell was doing before this all came about..
