Really the only reason to do it the way you did it is to dig at UK.

Instead, we just took down the #1 team with the pre-season player of the year.
Exactly. The song he had in the background has the lyrics “I rock kentucky blue.” Announces on the day of our biggest game maybe until March and even acts like it might be UK with the wording before he picks OSU. It was a total troll job and he completely used us for publicity. Screw that kid. And it really pisses me off that they had Cal drop everything and fly to Florida a couple weeks ago. Total trash moves every step of the way.

Exactly this. No one cares that he chose OSU. Hell, it was even expected by many. But the way he chose to do it was completely classless and I have no respect for how the Cunningham’s went about all of this. Can’t wait to watch OSUs one game on ESPN next year lol. Kentucky will always eat first.

He committed to spending next year in Stillwater, OK and then surely sat and watched UK's trio of guards go off in MSG in front of John Wall and Kevin Durant. He'll be fine and make money the rest of us can only dream of, but his brother did him a disservice regardless. He'll play a game or two against Kansas on national TV and that'll be it until draft night.

That’s why you come to UK. Absolutely nobody is talking about you committing to OSU. You can bet your *** Askew will get more pub based on his college choice......good luck
He tried to pull a punk-*** troll move and looked like a fool as we became the #1 team in the country. UK is always bigger than one player. Plus I think we will be alright with Askew, Boston, and Clarke. Plus we are not finished. Have fun in the NIT.

I could live with:

G - Askew
G - Quickley
G - Clarke
G - Boston
G - Juzang

Quickley likely won't have to feel like he's being forced out now. There's room for Juzang to do his thing too, as he and Boston will compete for the second starting wing position.

And Cannen will follow Cade to the NBA once the Oklahoma State staff gets fired less than a month after Cade's Cowboy team loses in the third round of the NIT.

Why in the world is anyone worried about him after this win?

Do you seriously have to ask this question?

UK fans typically hang a massive amount of attention on each elite recruit because of all the constant turnover in our program. It makes recruiting a vital element to our experience as fans.

Cade has the potential to be a future all star and had we landed him, it would have exponentially increased our chances of landing Brown.

I'm not sure how anyone can reasonably brush Cade's announcement aside, even on the same night UK took down the top ranked Spartans.

But if you don't have problem with it, that's fine. Just don't expect everyone to feel the same way as you do. For many of us, it was a huge miss. I can assure you Cal is feeling the same way being that he prioritized Cade over the last few months.

I wish nothing but bad for him. I have learned to take the recruiting with a grain of salt because people here often have their conspiracy theories of done deals, we lead, etc. etc. etc. But, in Cade's case, he dragged Cal out for a special trip again a few weeks ago yet since the beginning he knew where he was going. There was zero need to request Cal to make that visit, he and his family are real POS as far as I am concerned.

To be all depressed the night of beating the #1 team in the country because a recruit didn't pick you is ridiculous. Of course it sucks he didn't come here, but we've missed on just about every top 3 kid since Skal and we've been just fine.

Enjoy the win. There's plenty of time to cry about Cade when we're beating Weber st St or Evansville. Nobody wants to see the crybaby sh-+ after such a big game.

Our fans are capable of discussing Cade and celebrating the UK win in the same forum, on the same night. It's what happens when multi-interest fans discuss multiple topics in the same larger conversation.

Again, if you don't want to discuss Cade, no one is making you do so.

I'd give anything if we played OSU next year in the big 12 challenge.

Cade who? The Big Blue Machine Keeps Rolling On. We can't be that sad. If not here then Stillwater is just perfect and a great second choice for us. He's off the board and out of our way. Now had he gone to a rival or a team that could compete with us for a title that would have been a different situation altogether. Askew is now in play for 2020 and will quickly make us forget about Cade. It's a top big that we need. Cade was just a cherry on top since we already have the #1 PG in 202 waiting to come early if needed. We really need to give Askew, Boston, and Clarke a top frontcourt player to feed in the post. Brown, Paolo, Jackson or even Kuminga. Land one or two of those and we are still talking super team. Cade is nothing more than the next Trae Young now. For a guy who winning is everything to good luck with that. I expect that coaching staff to be fired in the next two years.

I'm still thinking Shaka might get canned this year and open up things with Brown. His father said UK is a whole other level and I think if it's not TX who has had plenty of top bigs and had no success in the Tourney then it's us.

Nah, he'll pull a Simmons and not play in the NIT.

Kid threw away a shot at being the #1 pick. Look at the numbers Young put up at Oklahoma and didn't boost his stock.

And, after they lose in the first round of the NIT without Cade, the staff will be fired anyways.

He got his brother another year is all.
