How are the collections for firing Stans coming along? I have no doubt that the big spenders on this board are not backing down from collecting enough money. I even heard that c34's teamraised $1.25 from a cake sale.

Also heard that they were real disappointed because coach reneged on matching their contribution.

1. Yes there is a SUBSTANTIAL amount of alumni money/influence in WP that could put Stans out and not blink an eye.

Yes, coach 34 is connected to about 5 people and they are all on this board. I happen to know a few myself in West Point and all of them theink we have a good coach. Coach34 is still trying to get over last night because he hopes we lose every game with his sick mind so he can then name the next coach. Of course two or three years ago he was telling us how great Pelphrey was and he is notorious for spinning his facts without giving all the facts. Any guy who has been harping about ridding ourselves of a coach for over 8 years is one sick puppy considering he is trying to get rid of the winningest coach in our history. Of course, he is convinced he could have done better even though he has never coached one day on the collegiate level. Don't look for him to raise any huge amount of money, too much competition in the condom sales market to raise any significant amount.

No more interest than they have shown in the past aboutbasketball, why would they start now? I know him well enought to know that evenif he had that kind of influence he would not use it.

You sure doput a lot stock in thinking you know about money and influence. You have had to have some to know anything about it..

While we are on thatsubject, Imost definitely could getc34 and interview with Stans, if would care to get up his coaching resume, with his extensive experience and knowledge of the game, he should be a lock for assistant head coach, and with his superior knowledge of the game would be a lock for the head coaching job as he brilliantly shows up Stans time and time again.

But I had better caution you to the fact that you would probably need to get away from your computer and make decisions on the court before they happen and not just be able to critque them after the fact.
