First, thanks for posting all of the links to the previews across the various classes.

The Richmond Times Dispatch does a meaningless “top 10” each season. (Meaningless because it is primarily designed to cater to their major subscription areas).
But, having said that, does anyone do an area “top 10” out in your area?

Another reason that I don’t put any credence in the RTD poll is it includes all class levels and the privates, all in one poll.

I still insist that the most accurate polls in the state are the Virginia Prep polls. Matt and gang have no dog in the fight, so they are pretty darn objective.

Each TV station (CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC, local affiliates) does a top 10, or something like it, each week throughout the season. They also mix all Classes together, along with private schools, and each area needs representation to appease Roanoke Co and City, Salem, Lynchburg, New River, Southside, etc... It doesn't really tell you much in other words.
