2-5 over their last 7 games, going from 27-2 to 29-7. the loss to the knicks should count for about 4 losses... next 2 are houston tonight and at cleveland friday.

still think they can get to 72 wins?

Not with Garnett and Pierce. Didn't think they could let that happen. It could get dicey for them, since they are all of the sudden playing like **** on the road. Cleveland has a good shot at taking home court, but I'd bet on Boston with a lot of the season left.

I may have not trusted my instinct that Doc Rivers is just a ******, ****** coach. I let the Celts winning the title last year cloud my judgment.

i thought they'd have a rough week or two, but no way would i have said they'd lose 5 in a 7 game stretch.

i'd still bet on them winning the east. and they'll be VERY tough to beat come playoff time. but winning 72 games is an amazing record that will be very difficult to duplicate.</p>

Lebron is going back to the Finals. He damn near beat the Celtics last year with a worse team than he has this year and without homecourt advantage.
