We are so far off topic... The basic point was and has always been... Gray shirts do not guarantee a scholarship (nor should they) and my point was that you are truly in denial if you think that UOM is the one school that always fulfilled all of their gray shirt (or any other guarantee) obligations. Nutt signed 31, 37, 25, and 28 players to each of his respective classes. During that same timeframe, MSU signed 34, 25, 27, and 26. State also signed 32 in 2003. Tennessee currently has 33 commits and is trying to sign 2 more. Rich Rod signed 36 at West Virginia in 2002. My point is that Nutt really didn't do anything out of the ordinary.
Again, rightfully so or not, was Nutt not the poster boy for this?
