South won the non conference matchup in OT several weeks ago. South seems to be playing better at the moment IMO. Depending on how healthy we are I think Hibriten can win but can't afford to turn the ball over or commit alot of penalties. Should be packed in Sawmills.

Status of a couple Panthers could be very crucial this week!!! No matter who plays we need to play the full 48 minutes this time and hopefully the outcome will be different

Hurts for the short term but may actually benefit for next year... Let the Jv kids play,,, build for next year.. Hopefully south can control themselves enough with personal foul and unsportsmanlike penalties and have a good game to watch... With the way injuries and inexperience are this year a round or two in the playoffs is a big success...

From listening to kids tonight at dinner sounds like there might be more than 1 significant injury headed into this week….

I agree in a way but could be similar to last year in playoffs when it’s hard not to let a Senior play if at all possible in what could be their last game

Talent! We’re not nearly as fast or physical. O line don’t block as well as past teams, and we’re really young. Backs don’t have speed to turn up, so this results in a lot of negative plays. I’m satisfied with where we’re at, in a reloading-rebuilding year. Going to playoffs at 5-4 or 6-3 isn’t bad when it’s a down year.

This team also have terrible turnover problems,, usually very untimely at that.. Those have changed momentum drastically in games this year. All part of having a down year, fortunately our down years still produce playoff teams. Says a lot for our coaches.. I do agree our line play is terrible compared to years past,, probably a good place to start fixing..

The way I see it is the pipeline has gotten leaner this year. Hibriten still has some GOOD pieces, just not the numbers they have experienced in past years. The middle school program had a good year and will continue to produce players. Hibriten is not a bad team, nor a great team as years past. They are an average high school football team and still have made the playoffs again. Hopefully the next couple years, will have what Hibriten fans have came to expect.

Good drive for Hibriten but couldn’t capatilize…. 2 15 yard penalties on Panther D have drastically helped South get in Red Zone

I couldn’t get anything to work on my phone at South but man what an impressive performance tonight from both the players and coaches from Hibriten tonight…. They made adjustments from both the first game and also in terms of personnel and pulled it off to perfection…. Both teams had way too many penalties but I think everyone knew coming into the game that it was going to get chippy!!!

Congrats boys!!!! Enjoy this one, find out who we play in the first round tomorrow and come out next Friday with the same focus and intensity

Couldn’t have hand picked a better team for them to play. Wonder how many personal fouls penalties they have after the play?? It seems like every touchdown Friday night was a dead ball foul

This equates to a 40+ point beatdown. I'm sure they will challenge themselves to obtain a few more personal foul penalties. It's almost as if it's a badge of honor to get a call. Undisciplined players are what causes many head coach's to have short careers.
