I’m glad we got to pick up a game. Hope this craziness ends by fall. Perry has to stay on field and not be sitting out now that we lost #5!
I believe he will be more easily replaced on the offensive side of the ball then he will be on the defensive side of the ball... We have other kids who can step in and produce on offense but not feeling that on the D
Definitely looks like might see a better game than if we stayed in conference!!!

Happy Hibriten got to play a good team Friday night. Our kids needed to play a team with that speed. N Rowan will benefit from this game also being a 1A school.

Sounds like it was a nice, clean performance on both sides of the ball. Good “business trip” — got off the bus ready to play, and executed. Good on the staff for having the boys ready.
Offense still has room for improvement in certain areas!!! Even though we were up 21-0 at half I would venture to say we only had around 75 yards of offense in the first half
Hhs o looked rusty in our beat down.
From what I heard had another starter out in that backfield. Wasn't there but that may have something to do with that.
We did... 2 starting RB’s in street clothes!!! Line needs to get better when we do attempt to throw the ball as well as QB needs to make quicker decisions on pass attempts, seems to be very fidgety in the pocket..

My opinion. Line play will get better. Remember these kids missed last year with Tim Poarch. He coaches them the whole game and it shows This team plays with a lot of discipline and they seem very controlled. They started a sophomore fullback Friday night and that kid bullied his way through the line all night. Gee spoiled us fans plain and simple. I would guess more if this will set up the other backs for longer gains.. Defense is stout , great tackles all night,,, we finally controlled a really good running back for most of the night Coaches are doing a good job in my opinion and 4 more games will just help tune the offense and o and d lines.
Defensive tds and short fields limit offenses production and rhythm. I think the O will be ok. #23 had some good runs have a couple strong FBs. QB is a phenomenal athlete just needs to make good decisions.. Couple things need to be polished up but stay healthy and we should be a top 2AA west team with a shot.
Next 4 weeks will be glorified practices as no one should be able to match the athletes we have which hurts to tell how much we are actually improving our play in this shortened season... Biggest thing is to stay healthy over these games to at least be at full strength headed into the playoffs!!!
