I really need someone to explain to me what the hell people think the endgame is for BS like this
Never heard of a "death grid" and even looked up what HAARP is and still don't understand what I was looking at. What exactly is "this"?

It’s basically this conspiracy theory that the weather is being controlled and that these severe weather events are a coordinated plan. Also that Hurricane Helene last fall was steered into North Carolina to kill all those people on purpose.

People who'd rather spend days buying into this conspiracy that the weather is controlled the government or some secret society instead of spending an hour to get an elementary understanding of weather.

Thanks, kinda sorry I asked. I was aware of the "hurricane steering" last year but didn't realize it had evolved to this.

All of it very easy to find objective facts surrounding it, but if you are in a huge echo chamber you just spiral downward.

Here in Taylorsville, it's pretty rough. One side of town was hit hard with neighborhoods with a lot of damage.. Folks going to be without power etc for awhile. We've also had about a foot of rain with it and it's flooded around town. Very lucky no one killed!

Did somebody say Timmer? He was on I-59 just in front of me and Hugh after what was left of the 2nd Tylertown storm passed over I-59 just north of Pachuta.1000015325.jpg

Looks like 3 fatalities in the Tylertown area with some still missing.

This board has definitely reached peak old man…. Politics and weather can get your boys fired up like nothing else****

Just kidding. Appreciate all the updates. I guess the Jackson area lucked out. Got a lot of rain from about 1 to 3 but nothing severe.

Sometimes young folks are hardheaded and make dumb decisions. Thank goodness they did listen to pull over and wait till it passed through Grenada.
Unlike some (most?) of us who have never done such back in the day?

Living in central Florida and had plans to drive to Vicksburg but a hurricane was hitting the panhandle. Thought it wouldn't be too bad/we could miss it so off we went on our over night run in a 1985 Corolla with a 6 year old and a dog. Not too bad until we got around Tallahassee with the wind rocking the car and all of the exit sign snapped off and thought it best to pull over at the next exit. Parked somewhere in a field in the pitch dark and somehow all "4 of us" manage to sleep in that Corolla. Actually woke up to about 4 or 5 others parked with us.
Of course once we got going again I saw that we had less that a quarter tank of gas and no power anywhere for the next 50 miles (seemed like 200). Fortunately we found an open station, it was getting close.
Needless to say, one of the more memorable WTH was I thinking from my younger days.

And don't forget the various medical stats/conditions and medications/surgeries. In addition to the board, you know you've entered the zone when a majority of dinner/party conversation revolves around such.

Starkville was pretty uneventful as well thankfully (but no, we shouldn't have played tonight).

In all seriousness…..why would you do that?

And how about those nut cases who, right after Trump got shot in Pennsylvania, typed on this board that it was probably planned by Trump himself to get attention.

Crazies on all sides aren't there??
Literally no words to describe how crazy Trump is so nothing is out of the question.

And nothing happened where I lived Despite the local people saying the sky was going to fall. Weather alarmist's kill people because normal people get jaded to people like you screaming "we are all going to fie" every chance they get. Then we learn to ignore people like you when the next Camille/Ivan/Katrina come through.

I'm still waiting on our new admin. to release all the files/info on Epstein Island and JFK's assassination. And any UFO stuff that's been covered up over time (especially the Roswell case). Seems like things have stalled a bit on all that. They must be going over all of it with a fine tooth comb to make sure certain name's don't pop up.

You should look at the scenes in Tylertown and then tell us that weather people were too alarming.

30+ people already pronouned dead from the storms over the past two days.

But hey since it didn't do anything at Mobile Bay's house, this was a giant overreaction **

I don't really want to pile on, but do you even realize that multiple people died in Mississippi alone.

If not then just come back and say you weren't paying attention to the whole story and maybe retract your post. If you knew it and are this self centered, maybe work on that issue.
