We’ve played Alabama every season for 100 years. Of course as soon as Saban retires and they are mortal again, they come off our schedule. The Mississippi State things that happen never cease to amaze me.

I bought this argument years ago. When I was young and naive and thought "building a program" was a real thing. Now, I think it's just smart to be a front runner.
It's amazing the effect that a single person can have on something as complex as a D1 football program. You take that one piece away and the other variables are woefully inadequate

OM has played Vandy for the last 10 (?) years, in Vandy's one good year, they are not on OM's schedule.
Yeah, but om has often struggled with vandy. They’ve lost to vandy 6 or 7 times since 2007 (last time we beat bama) so wouldn’t be that big of a deal
Man, I love the Dawgs. But I'm not sure we beat Bama or Vandy this year.
It is simple as he tried all season to use a running back as quarterback. He can't throw well at all. He doesn't have a problem with simple passes. It's the other 70% needed by a regular QB's passes that he struggles with. And it was more than just his play today. He is a great running back. He's a terrible running quarterback.
