that is a fair point and i agree. to what degree, i dont know, but any team we beat by less than a TD at home the previous year, we need to be wary of....kentucky, alabama, it doesnt matter. that was a close game, they are much improved. why is it so hard for us to say we need to be ready for their best shot and be on upset alert? its not conceding a loss, rather, it is being proactive in preventing one against a team that gave us fits last year.
saying we need to be prepared and if not, we have a decent opportunity to lose ≠ we are going to lose.
some schools will look at that game and say, "if we dont play well, we could lose" other teams will say "same old garbage kentucky, nothing to see here". i hope we are the former. Given the result of last year, we would be fools not to take them seriously. that 2-10 kentucky team last year was a play away from being 3-9 at our expense. why does nobody see the danger in this game?
