No news coming out today to me means one of two things: we are either close to an announcement (next day or two), or we are nowhere near one (maybe two more weeks). I'm crazed, too, but I would 100% rather wait and get a Wow, than have my anxieties abated with a Meh.
You know he has a plan B...He will be the HC for 2016..Think of the budget savings. And the wont be any worse than in 2015!!!
I don't think we're anywhere near hiring someone. Just a guess, but you figure signing day is 2 months away so why not take the extra week or two to make sure you hire the best coach you can...
He's meeting with Plum Street later today. Announcement will follow shortly thereafter.
In all seriousness, these are valuable recruiting days so it would behoove us to get a coach in place by the weekend.
If he hires Al "I look like a muppet" Golden. Then yes he's gotta go.
The big upshot, for me at least, is that he could have Golden signed and delivered in 24 hours. That that hasn't happened makes me think Golden is Plan B.
