Watching it on tv is nothing compared to watching it live. I've had the opportunity to attend a couple of games and it's WAY better to watch in person.
Yes hockey is infinitely better in person.
It’s not even close. If you get a chance to go to an NHL game, do it.
Been to a ton of Predators games and this is truth. Kinda like NASCAR. The live game is a very different experience. Never played, obviously, but hockey is an awesome sport, period.
USA looks a lot better this period. Strong offensive zone play so far. So close.
This is one of the best things the NHL has ever done. Instead of a meaningless All-Star Game, we get this awesome international tournament. NBA take note.
In the final, they play 20 minutes 5 on 5, just like they do in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They’ll play until somebody scores. No shootout.
That segment they showed before overtime started, with the Herb Brooks pregame talk scene from the movie Miracle interspersed with shots of the current players, gave me chills.
Damn, this Canadian goalkeeper is standing on his head. A couple amazing saves to keep the game going.
Best player in the NHL scores the winning goal. This tournament was a huge win for the NHL. I bet the television ratings are huge.
