It should, but to really get the crowds in for more than SBW and the LSU and OM series, we need to upgrade/build the stadium. Chair back the lines, more food choices, more restrooms, more areas to sell MSU gear and a ticket exchange to fill the grandstands. I would love a new facility but a major update would be welcome. Alabama is spending $30 million on their facility. Hey Scott Stricklin, where are you?
I'm moving up north and after being here for 4 long years and only leaving a handful of times in that time I thought about the idea of not coming back for a year or two so that I can fully appreciate the next time I'm in town....... but after this postseason I've already committed to coming back for next year's SBW. Count me in.
I remember I spent my 19th birthday at Dudy Noble the season we won 6 games watching us play against USA on a Wednesday. I was maybe one of 100 in attendance.
I don't think you'll ever see that happen again. It's now a major MAJOR draw for students to go and eat, get drunk, and pick up girls (and for the girls to socialize). I think you'll see an increase in average, but the most important stat is I don't believe there will ever be less than 4,000 at a game. Quite the jump from 19th birthday.
I think we can bring 20,000 to DNF for SBW. It will be entirely uncomfortable, hectic, and down right inconvenient but it will be one of the most fun times in my lifetime. Just need to get drunk first to avoid the panic attack induced by claustrophobia.

Alabama is spending bank on their stadium because as it stands, it looks like a high school stadium sandwiched on the side of a highway. As much as I hate Alabama, BDS is a marvel to any college football fan. Their baseball and basketball arenas suffer from their football success though. I don't think we should bookmark DNF by Alabama's spending... because they're basically starting from scratch. No amount of money could replicate DNF.
