1. Anyone saying the game should be moved from Omaha needs to go see the amazing investment they have made in the entire area. It is just damn awesome. The bar with an open area up top next to the entrance to the stadium is a nice touch.

2. Parking was nothing. I parked immediately and was back on the highway within 5 minutes of getting back to the truck.

3. I lost a year of my life as that ball floated to right field at the end.

4. The pre-game alumni event was very well done in their new convention center which is next door to the field. Great job by the bulldawg club.

5. Let's win this damn thing!

The pregame alumni event was pretty good. Like the rally towels. It's just a nice clean town. We had a really good time if didn't have our 17 month old with is we would have walked straight to the Blatt Bar after the game.

Next time we will bring our football tailgate to town.

I have a couple of friends who farm in Nebraska and its not just an Omaha thing to support it, it's a Nebraska point of pride. They really do take a lot of pride in hosting the CWS every year.

Anyone who says that they should move the CWS around has clearly never been to Omaha. That whole town (and really the whole state of Nebraska) is geared up to support the World Series. There's no way you could duplicate that atmosphere anywhere else.

This thing needs to stay in Omaha. I'm here for the first time, but the support is tremendous. And the local people we have spoken to really love hosting and have been very nice and hospitable to us.

They do. I've only been there once (1990). Omaha put on a fantastic show then and is a great city. A part of me still wishes that I had gotten the job (was a finalist and interviewed) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

LSU media continues to hype a "partnership" between Omaha and LSU and how everybody that lives within a 100 mile radius wants the Tigers to win. Is there any radio or television station in the state of Louisiana that doesn't hype that athletic program. Is there another state in the united states that does that like they do. It appears to work...thx
