One of my older brothers is gay. It bothered me when I was really young, like me
early teens. My father was really mean to him and they're still contentious towards each other. But I accepted it and got through all the preconceived notions around 20 I totally quit having a problem with him. I haven't had a problem with his or anyone's homosexuality since. We hang when he's in town all the time.

Believe it or not one of my sisters is bisexual as well. What are the chances you know? Not making this up.

That’s great. I hope your dad comes around.

Actually, just tell him he is wrong in my eyes. I believe one of my twins is gay.

As a Christian who believes in the inerrancy of the Bible, or the New Testament, there’s not much way around believing homosexuality to be a sin. But that doesn’t mean the government should force it. As Jesus said “Leave to Caeser what is Caeser’s.”

I can see how the line gets blurry for some on gay “marriage” with marriage being an institution defined by God. Personally, I’ve never considered the government’s idiotic version of “marriage“ to have anything to do with the holy union through the Lord, so don’t care.

To each his/her own. I always say this to someone when they say it's a choice. "Since it's a choice, then everyone has to make that choice. Do you remember when you made that decision?"

Its nasty, its wrong, but it doesnt affect me so live and let live. The whole calling guys a girl and all that **** are when I speak up. Who and what you bang is your business. Trying to strongarm me to get on board and enable your perverted arse is a different story.

I've never had gays who don't know me ask me which gay club I attend because they assume I'm gay, then give me a reproachful look when I tell them I don't go to gay clubs and that I'm not gay. I've never had any gays invite me to their gay club, even after they find out I'm not gay. I've never had gays leave literature on my vehicle or door telling me that I should be gay or risk burning in Hell. I've never had gays knocking on my door or walk into my yard wanting to talk to me about becoming gay. In fact, none of our 8 gay friends nor my wife's gay cousin and gay niece have ever approached us about any of that either.

There is however, another group of people who have done that **** countless times over the years. I usually try to be polite as possible with that group because that's the type of guy I am, but sometimes it's hard, especially if I'm in a hurry and if they are too dense to understand what I'm telling them.

I know my opinion isn’t how I “suppose” to feel but here goes. If someone is gay that’s their right. It’s not for me to judge. At the same time I don’t want to see it on television.

So many hard working gays that the lazy ones basically don’t exist.

Well, I drive passed a public housing complex (or 10) everyday. Prosecuted in my home county for 16 years, and got to know the essentially worthless sob’s in my vicinity.

Gay and lesbian ain’t monikers commonly attached to the people I’m referencing . . . and nobody can holler racism on this post . . . I asked our director of 56 apts. what % were white.

He laughed and said 100%.

I would have guessed 95%.

You said...."Trying to strongarm me to get on board and enable your perverted arse is a different story."

I pointed out that I have never had one single gay attempt to do that. You posted that, so that's why I was telling you.

Yes, that's what you typed. You may have not meant for it to sound like that, but you did. Serious question....are you one of the dudes from that other group I was referring to?

I dont really care if you misinterpreted it. Thats again, a you problem. Furthermore do you not see how giant of a jackass hypocrite you are by trying to strongarm me with your opinion? "I'm going to whine about religious zealots trying to force their opinion of what they think is right on me, and then in my very next post Im going to do that very thing Im whining about, to someone else." Seems legit. I dont know what I did to give you the impression I give a **** about your thoughts on the issue. At this point I'm just sticking you on ignore. Bye Felicia.

I’ll bite.

I was raised in a conservative home. Old man was a southern baptist minister. He is so conservative he has now left the southern baptist because they “got too liberal for him.” And now we attend a small church that is about like any church in our area, fairly conservative. I was raised to believe it’s an abomination along with many many other practices including sex before marriage.

I never participated in any gay **** but I did my share of sex before marriage lol. So I can’t attest much experience about gay other than friends I’ve had who are. Here’s my belief I have assumed over the years.

I believe it’s a sin in the basis of it all. I don’t really buy being born a way and not having a choice in what you’ll do. But I won’t sit and argue with someone who believes the opposite of me on that. Here’s why from my perspective: sin is perversion and to me all types of sex can be a perversion of the flesh and maybe people can be predispositioned to going a certain direction l? However I believe we should flee sin and therefore you have to go against sinful programming we inherited from Adam on down the line. Now if you don’t believe in the Christian god, I don’t have much of a leg to stand on with you. That’s fine. We all can have different beliefs.

On gay rights and marriage: well why is that my business? I was also raised to believe your transgressions are between you and god... according to our constitution and the principles our nation is based upon all I know to tel you is that if it isn’t encroaching on another person’s liberties granted by the constitution then it should be legal to do it. Is it moral? Maybe not. But that’s not what the constitution is meant to set forth. Men marrying men and women marrying women doesn’t affect my faith because I’m not going to be participating. But I also don’t believe it’s right to stop another person from that. People bleed their beliefs religiously and socially too deeply into our legal and legislative principles.

I’m
Not really into lesbians either but man gay dudes do kind of gross me out. I’ve had several gay friends though and people who eat well done steak gross me out. My old lady eats it that way every night.
Basically, you’ve got your belief; I’ve got mine. I’m fine with you having that belief but I don’t Necessarily agree.

Agree with most especially not being born that way, in fact, no homosexual gene proving they are born that way has been found. But, a God gene (If you will) has.

*then proceeds to make 10 more posts of religious, hate-filled horseshit.*

Can we shut this one down yet?
False, only your ignorance sees it as hate filled because it does not fit your line of thinking which is why you want to shut me down. Hope you have a safe room in your house snowflake.
