How many times were Nebraska and Bo Pelini mentioned last year? You can bet that Mullen and MSU will get mentioned less than that.

And I can't answer your question for two reasons. 1) It was a year ago. B) I would have been paying zero attention to them mentioning Nebraska and Pelini since it was of no interest to me.

...but you have to understand that Bo Pellini was the LSU Defensive Coordinator. Offense tends to get a little more attention. So, I think there will be several mentions during the game, and probably 2-3 during pregame.

the question is just would it help more being in Starkville full time? Maybe working on Auburn commits who are wavering. But I really don't know the answer to that, and I doubt anyone does for sure.

so really the only thing he could be doing is assembling his staff, which would be good. As for recruiting, he really wouldnt be able to do much anyway.

I think it matters with the current recruits seeing him coaching the best offense in the nation. I am sure he will tell them, especially skill players, to watch and see how he uses his personnel i.e. Percy Harvin. I dont think us getting "mentioned" on TV is really going to do much for us. It's not like John Doe recruit is going to hear the talking heads mention MSU and decide out of the blue that he should attend MSU.

We may be mentioned, and that would be good pubs for us.
But, really, don't y'all think that Mullen deserves to coach in the MNC game?

If I were him, which I'm not, I'd like to make that scene as a reward for the work I'd done.

I recently got a new job assignment, but am still called upon by my formers to backfill, help with the transition.
That just goes with being a professional.

Urban said that right now was just conditioning basically. Mullen is going to Gainesville after Christmas and help develop the gameplan.

The interview I heard with Urban said that he would return to FL after Christmas. This can only help recuiting.

think about how many times croom was mentioned over the last 5 years for good reasons or bad (in games we werent even playing)

Now think about how they are gonna say he is being replaced by Mullen

I put the over/under at 7.5
