Rodney had a career high of 28 points in their win. How in the hell did we ever land a player like him?

He actually had 30, on 8 of 10 shooting, and 12-12 from the stripe. To go along with 5 boards.

Well, until he plays like he's not one of the greatest players we 17'd up with (in classic MSU style), then I'd say yes. This is no Gary Irvin, Delks, or .....wtf, Dylan Farve.

In relevant MSU basketball news, we are up 15 at the half against Valley. 3-0 will feel good even we haven't played anyone good enough to win in 2A high school ball.

I think we all know that. Last year NBADraft had him as the #2 or #3 overall pick in the draft next year. He's awesome.

Yeah, I saw that also; but I think they had him going #6, tho. I'll be very surprised if he isn't taken in the top 10 or 15 this year.

This is gonna get old. Didn't do this with Hansborough and he actually left for the right reasons. He didn't transfer b/c his parents stopped [redacted redacted redacted redacted]. Duke board

I don't get it. Rodney Hood played a season at State. I am curious as to how he does this season and beyond. And he didn't leave necessarily on bad terms.

Stans did what it took to get the MS players he wanted. We probably don't want to know EXACTLY how we got him. But beyond that is there going to be a Hood thread on this board after every Duke game? Geez people, let it go. I don't wish the kid any ill will but he has NO connection to MSU anymore.

Agree. Let it go. We get it. He's an outstanding player. But 17 him. He didn't want to be here from even before he started school here.

In the latest Jarekious Bradley game our EMCC non-recruited Bradley scored 26 and grabbed 9 boards vs Ball State. He's still listed as a junior.

And on the highlights on ESPN, all they talked about was Jabari Parker

Hood has been their player of the game in 5 of their 7 games so far but it looks like most of the attention is gonna be on Parker regardless of what hood does
