he'd already made his mind up and almost left 2 1/2 months ago. The current roster other than the 2 walk-ons leaving would be the same with or without Stans. Not sure where anybody else is reading or getting something different. Current roster is of Stans doing not Ray's'

If you believe the b.s. story that Hood already had his mind made up that long ago, I disagree. Rodney gave every indication that next season would be different and he'd be sure of that. As in he would be the leader of our team. Well somewhere after Stans retired, he had a change of heart and decided he didn't want to be the leader of our beloved Bulldogs after all. I think that sux big green donkey ..... I thought Rodney was better than that and tougher than that. I was wrong. Now he goes to sit out a year at pretty much his pick of schools outside of the SEC I pray. I wish him well but will not be a fan or pull for wherever he ends up. Thanks for helping me show my 11 year old what a role model is supposed to look like. See I used Rodney as what was good with MSU basketball after all this turmoil. My fault I know for actually believing it myself. Now I have had explaining to do. Is there such a thing as a role model anymore?

Hood is expected to be the team's leader in the locker room next season.<span class="aa"></span><span class="pp"></span>"Most
definitely," Hood said last week. "I was kind of the leader this year
as far as working hard every single day and going to class and doing the
right things. But, you know, next year we're going to be ready."

Stans talked him out of leaving 2 1/2 months ago. With the team in shambles the kid decided to go to greener pastures with or without Stans. He was gone either way!

And this changed after Stan's retired. For the record, yes I was a Stan's supporter. But I also realize that something had to change. I just thought the change would be assistants and Sid, Dee, and Arnette leaving. But after I went to the NIT game Insaw wi my own eyes Stan's was ready to hang me up. I didn't know he would but he was not his normal self on the court. Now we are where we are. I think Stricklin hired a good man to replace Stansbury. I also think we see how much his players really liked Stansbury. We will be bad for a few but hopefully Ray will get us back to a good Stansbury level one day

Yes, you are your child's role model. Why trust that to a stranger?
