I've been behind ray the whole time but there's no excuse having price and Cunningham in game together. I understand one at time but not both.

Yea god forbid your buddy leave any talent or depth at all. You should be so proud of your buddy and all he did for MSU. Left us in great shape!

Price had NO BUSINESS being out there period. I don't care if we only have 6 bodies dressed out. Only 5 should play. While he was in the game, his man either scored or we were scores on due to his pathetic defensive play. Period.

Matter of fact of third 29 points, I'd be willing to bet that 25 of their points are due to Cunningham or Prices pathetic defense.

I realize we are young and short handed but games like this make me question exactly how good our freshmen are. In today's college game freshmen come in and play well all the time but our guys are struggling like crazy, especially Fred Thomas. You can't blame depth when we get off to such awful starts so often.

Thomas, Sword, and Ware need to hit the gym this summer and work on their games every single day.

Most teams dont have 3 true freshman starters- they are role players or the 5th starter. It's easier to blend in and be part of the team. Those 3 guys are our team- huge difference.

An actual PG will make such a huge difference

Agree

RR gets a full pass on this season. Need to see improvment next season, though.

In normal years, Thomas and sword would have redshirted. We didn't beat out UCLA and Duke for these guys. People want to criticize, but some state fans that I know are clueless that we are in this situation. They think we have 15 on the bench waiting to come in.

I'm here watching it and I can't think of

One good thing to say. It is by far the worst Msu team I have ever seen. We have no one that can create their own shot and consistently make it. Furthermore, our defense sucks . It's bad.

Golly. How many on this board wanted a change/ new direction in our basketball program? This is change. You may not have like Stansbury, you may be smarter than Stansbury, you may be a former coach somewhere, but man this basketball team is a mess. I guess we need to be careful what we ask for.

Where were you last year when Stansbury was driving the season and evidently the program into the ground? I'll tell you - hiding like a baby. But now that this season is a complete disaster you are doing exactly what you accused Coach of doing. Gloating and enjoying our team losing. I hope you are thrilled with the season so you can say forever that we shouldn't have fired Stans. It still won't make you right but I'm sure you won't stop saying it. Loser.

Yeah, because it would be so much more fun to be 2-11 with Renardo and a bunch of lazy drug addict prima donnas. Brilliant idea there.

Exactly. As bad as it is, if we hadn't made a change it would have been even worse.

This is not about being right or wrong. I'm merely pointing out out all the bitching and moaning about the lack of success. Yet, this board was whining complaining and second guessing last year as well. Holler at me all you want, some folks aren't ever happy.

Don't worry. We'll be in the NIT next year. Coach34 says so. I mean, that's the next logical step from a 17 game losing streak and 30-point home losses.

I was here *** hole through all of it so quit lying to protect what you wanted. You got change , now live with it . You and coach were the ringleaders in berating Stans for a decade so quit lying!

Exactly, much better to have hard working drug addicts than lazy ones.

4 FG's in 1st Half, and only 2 thus far in 2nd...

High school teams would sore more than that. Cant wait for this season to end. After today we will have our longest losing streak, EVER!

I'll live with it just fine, but to revel in it like you do is pathetic. Are you having a watch party today to enjoy the game? Bunch of your friends shuffle down the hall to the multi-purpose room for prune smoothies and some basketball?

Why is not OK for him to do exactly what Coach did for 9 years?

Not that it matters much but does anyone know why a team...

that cannot score doesn't run Jalen Steele off of a hundred screens?

Other than that and why we keep trying that 1-3-1, we just don't have the personell to really know anything at this point.

I do think having an actual point guard will help a lot in the future. Don't know how much.

I don't care how many players we have, or how many freshmen are playing. There is NO EXCUSE for losing FOUR home games by more than 30 points, especially when the SEC is as bad as it's ever been. Ray has to have some culpability in this. It's embarrassing to even look at the scores of our games. And it's going to take a hell of a lot more than a point guard to fix whatever we've got wrong.

100% sure that the period from 2013-15 will be better under Ray than it would have been under Stans. Etch it into stone.

No hey wouldn't have...they would've played 34 minutes total...

gotten no valuable experience and burned a year.

But I get your point.
