Last meeting Mallard Creek defeated Hough 13-9. I’m curious to see if we could see similar results. Any thoughts with this game.

It will be close but MC will need to play better than they have the last two weeks. They played a very clean game against Hough the first time. Last two games have seen turnovers and penalties.
They were significantly better than AK. Should have been a running clock in 2nd half.

Will Hough be at full strength as I know in the last meeting they were missing either their star WR or RB??
Creek played with a JV QB last game, so if the WR is back for Hough. That should make it about even.

I didn't watch it either, but their offense wasn't lol. Also, Hough defense is just as good imo. Hough has a comparable defense and a better offense than MC this year. The score is pretty much what I expected.

trolls. That’s it! Per my previous post. There are Shelby guys that actually know football. Than there’s you guys. Keep making your Dad, who’s also your uncle proud Hough kicking game is incredible. punted a 82 yarder down to the 1 yard line. 3 field goals, 2 were 45 yards plus, 3rd was inside 15, scored 6 on a slant route. If they make it past the 50, they’re in striking distance. Creek was inside 10 twice, and couldn’t punch it in. We have no kicking game. Sophomore QB, 1st Varsity start, threw some beautiful bombs that were dropped, connected on 1 for about 46 yard TD. We’ve struggled on the offensive side all year. Hough wins !
That’s pretty much it. 2 of the best defenses in the state battling it out. Creek had a state champ caliber D but just didn’t have enough horsepower on O for deep run in the playoffs. Hough’s kicking/punting game is unbelievable.
Great game! Crazy that kicker is 2024!! Mallard Creek, to give credit, came a long way from where they were last year. Young qb has a lot of potential in my opinion .

Got beat by a better team tonight. Not much to add. Creek had a good year, definitely on the uprise as a program. Two years ago they were getting smoked by Hough and Vance/Chambers, now they are right there. Some studs coming back...very talented JV squad.
I said in the middle of the year I didn't see a dominant Meck County squad this year. 3-4 very good ones but not dominant. I think EF rolls to the title.
Watching the highlights MC had some opportunities going deep and a few of them were drops. The one WR 11 dropped in the first quarter was a killer
