Harding is back to a 1-10 team. Hough will have some problems in the trenches. Crouch was injured while pounding Hough on their 1st and only score. He didn't play RB until the 2nd quarter. He should shut it down and get ready for college. Harding is that bad. Coaching was horrendous. I believe they had about 7 or 8 delay penalties. Numerous snaps going over the QB's head.

I'm hearing Harding is a shell of last years championship team. With that being said, that's still a big loss. I didn't expect the margin to be that high.

Once he scored, he limped off the field and shut it down. There is absolutely no reason for him to continue playing High School Football. Harding is that bad. They look identical to the JV team last year. It explains why Greiner made the exit.

Hough is also debatably one of the best teams in the state according to the Charlotte Observer and other High School Sports outlets? Is Hough just that good, or Harding that bad or both.

Smh u see why greiner was in a hurry 2 leave
I understand when u gotta go u gotta go, but what about the kids, what about coaching them up. A back like that and a good coach, seems like I read they returned dub digit starters.

Smart move on his part. I get the kids part but he has zero infrastructure almost no coaching support, terrible facilities, no fan support. He was the program. Timing was right.

I doubt he or about any coach that wants to put a top flight program on the field consistently could have handled the situation there, both physically and mentally, for an extended period. Blue and Gold summed it up.

I was not at the game but just watching the turnovers and field position that was given to Hough the score seems about right. Harding looked grossly out of place on assignments and body language was night and day from last year. Once again the Hough success comes from if they can get it blocked up front. They don’t look marketably different athletically up front on offense. Let’s see what they do next week when they play a very well coached Providence squad.

Crouch should seriously consider shutting it down. Especially with already recuperating from an injury. That team might win 3 games. Whats scary is, with him in the game. Hough could not stop him. He was running through them like butter. If he plays the full game it would have been a ball game. It was like watching a grown man playing against 9&10 youth program. .

Just saw the film for this game, the Harding D-Line and O-Line put nearly no effort into any play. No offense to any team or player, but the defensive line specifically are just large players they aren’t athletic, they aren’t trying in many of the plays they aren’t even moving. The DB’s looked really average maybe above average they just can’t compete with Hough’s WR core.

Whoever is coach over at Harding has to do something about the effort of the OL/DL. Live ball fumble on the ground and the entire OL just stopped playing and didn’t move an inch while the entire hough defense played to the whistle with six or seven bodies on the ball.

I agree with Nepsy, if that is the effort the OL and DL is going to give the rest of the team and the running back, there is no reason for him to play for them at all because those players are going to get him hurt.

When I say greiner got every ounce out of them last yr he got every ounce. They literally had the perfect storm of success last yr 2 states.

Buy in is a funny thing. When the kids are all in they can over play their ability. Opposite is also true.
