Wow, I wish I could help you out with a link to the video but if you have a rivals account go check it out on the Ole Miss site. He completely melted down. The ship is sinking a lot faster than I thought.

you have to give a coach a rebuilding year in Oxford after the two Cotton Bowl wins.As far as making it to Atlanta.....good luck. You have to get through LSU, Bama and Auburn, plus Arkansas won't be slowing down anytime soon. Its just tough to be a member of the SEC West in Mississippi. It's much tougher now than it was in '98 and '99.</p>

********.

Give Mullen back-2-back cotton bowl and see if he follows that up with a ****-tastic year because the cupboard is bare.

The simple fact is Nutt feasted off Ed O's recruiting. But now Nutt is left with his own recruits. And Ed O's lack of depth that isn't providing good starters right now.

Nutt is still figuring out this rivalry thing. They don't have a real SEC rival. LSU hastes Arkansas about as much as LSU hates Ole Miss - which is about at much as MSU hates Kentucky (football) I guess.

Masoli is not going to know what hit him. He's never seen the intensity that he is going to see in that game.

He always starts talking about how we're 3rd in the SEC in wins, won however many SEC championship, etc... It always sounds like he's trying to win over the court of public opinion.

I mean this was no critical article or some website post.

Someone got to him and they apparantly sit on the 50 yard line.

I'd pay good money to have been a fly on that wall.

Do you think that Florida or Georgia is happy?
I'm sure they're not. But at least they lost to the East and West division champions and not to an 0-5 team.

I planned on having seven wins at this point in the season, six at the worst.
How's that working out for you?

There is no sin in getting knocked down; the sin is when you stay down.
Let's see here. Jacksonville St. knocked you down. Then Vandy knocked you down again. Now you've lost 4 of your last 5 games and got blown the 17 out by an 0-5 team.

someone in their AD told him that some alumni that are high up are pissed and that unless he pulls off some wins over LSU and MSU, he better be ready to make some changes.

In turn, Nutt got pissed off at the "ungratefullness" of the boosters and fans and called them out because apparently he thinks that he has done a pretty good job there and this year isn't his fault because there have been a lot of injuries and they're young.

This is Houston Nutt. He wasn't going to suddenly change. He's always been an up and down coach. He's always been a coach that would pull out a few he shouldn't but also lose a few he shouldn't. Even the two previous years that were supposedly so great, they didn't win as much as they should have. When Nutt loses he gets desperate and pleads way too much. I'ts pretty funny.

You have to wonder about next year. Will Stanley stay or not? What will they have at QB and WR? Who will they get to replace Nix?

He may be gone after next year. The $$ Alumni are getting pissed and yesterday's presser didn't help his situation any with them. I can't wait until after two more losses this year. LSU will beat them by 20+ this Saturday and then Mullen will tear the Bears a new on in Oxford. I see Nix gone after this year. Nutt never had to recruit against another in-state school at Arkansas and Mullen has his number so far in that area in MS. He walked into the perfect situation with the Crazy Cajun's recruits. I hope they let him keep on helping players for years to come, Nutt is certified crazy...

Or am I mistaken? Cause if he is... no way they're paying a coordinator NOT to coach. Nix will be back.

after edit...

Yep.. they extended him in March. 3 years @ $500K per. Two years left on his contract. No way they're paying him a million bucks to hit the bricks.
