How badly could a rainout today hurt our hosting chances?

I asked this in another thread, but the rule for a Sunday rain is to cancel the game, isn't it? So in theory, this could hurt our overall SEC record and therefore our hosting chances, correct?

If it rains out a game we win, it hurts us. If it rains out a game we lose, it helps us. Therefore no one can say for certainty whether a rainout helps or hurts us.

It ain't looking good right now according to the future radar I looked at. We

badly need to play and get this sweep.

Remember, they can call it an official game after the Top of the 5th. Our game starts at 1:30 and the rains aren't supposed to come until around 4. So if we can jump out to an early lead and hold on to it until fairly late in the game, we get a W if the rain comes.

Hmmmm I feel like a sweep helps us way more than going 2-1 hurts us, so this is where I'm getting my theory.

Yeah but we gotta get started first. It's been raining all a.m. and the radar

looks like this system is going around in circles and hasn't left the area.

Shouldn't hurt our chances of hosting at all. If we had split yesterday, they yeah. But all we need is 2 wins each weekend plus vs. Oral Roberts and we should be set to host.
