Looking forward to the next 10 days. Hope we don't have to meet you guys in the tourney because you've got some bats.
...A good chance the rebels will take the next two, but there is little excuse for a top 10 team to lose to a bottom 10 team on a Friday night. Especially when so much is on the line for the Fighting Biancos.

Tennessee took 2 of 3 from LSU in Baton Rouge this year. That should prove that good teams can and will lose to bad teams in baseball.
I swear I thought our fans overreacted about individual baseball games and series, but you guys apparently do as well. As much as I wanted to sweep to give ourselves a chance at the SEC title and a national seed, I realize that it's only one game, and it doesn't mean the end of our season, nor does it spell doom for our chances to have a good postseason.

After tonight, barring a very deep run in the SECT, OM being a super regional host is pretty much out the window now.

Our #7 team has also lost to Mercer, South Alabama, Saint Louis, South Carolina (twice), TCU, Vanderbilt, and USM. Baseball teams lose games, often to lesser opponents. That's why your old coach used to say "that's baseball" a lot. Hell, Georgia lost the first game of their regional last year to freaking Lipscomb before going on a tear and coming up one game short of a national title.
Is there a reason why, without provocation, you'd take my "congrats, sixpackers" and turn around and tell me to $$*# off? Help me Todd. If you don't, you go in the pile with Coach34, Ronny, etc. As I said above, that's really not your style.

MSU outplayed us and deserved to win. Whitney and Pomeranz both threw well early on. Yall got to Pomeranz, we never got to Whitney. It wasn't a fluke, yall played better and beat us. I was hoping to sweep but now it will be tough just to win the series. Buckvich vs Routt favors MSU. Congrats.

Buckvich held State to one run in the Gov Cup. The advantage I see is that State has seen Buckvich before, whereas Ole Miss hasn't seen Routt.

I'm hardly defending him, but didn't Ronny come forward immediately after his contradiction and admit it? Yet you moron rebel posters have made posts about it for 2 days straight including doing research like you're getting a phd in forum searching and saved planet earth from the likes of an internet poster changing their mind over the course of several hundred posts. - how recruits going out of state from a high school in your backyard is our problem too
- how someone with ties to Ole Miss just happens to take in someone with the ideal prototypical offensive lineman's body
- how a coach berating players in the media is right out but a coach punching cabbies while calling them racial terms is hardly anything to get worked up about
