that's harsh and stupid. When a team that gets beat by mid majors beats you, you best keep your mouth shut and do some introspection.
We have enough twitter losers in our fanbase to handle the job. I'm sure of that.
With that said, what a moron to say something that stupid about a program who has performed to the level we have over the years. This is USM at it's finest I tell you.

So USM was 8-4 going into the game with several poor losses and he's throwing shade on our losses? Ours were horrible but he needs to know when to keep his mouth shut.

These are the types of statements our players need to hear because number one they've got a lot to prove and number two this tends to be motivation for high testosterone young men. Which is exactly what we need right now.

Pretty sure our baseball team hasn’t been high testosterone for 3 years now. It was a stupid thing for the USM player to say. But it’s not going to “light a fire” and suddenly everything’s all right with our program.
Maybe not, but it can't hurt their motivation to win. If Lemonis cant light them up maybe someone else will.

I think you guys are seriously miscalculating the lack of self awareness and victim mentality that fan base carries when State or Ole Miss enters the room. This 28 second reel should be memorialized in the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame as the most accurate representation of a typical USM fan's psyche in history. Thanks for the emotional lift our guys will get from being told you are ‘not very good, but we are’. I guess that’s the kind of stuff you say after you transferred from Rhode Island to big time, Southern.
