The first one was a tough call either way. Slauter isn't exactly fast. However, the ball wasn't hit very sharply and it had already been slowed down some more when the 3B brushed it. Even had their SS fielded it cleanly, it would've been a close play. I'm not going to say Slauter would've beaten it out, but it would've be close. It's hard for me to complain one way or the other on that one. Personally, I'd have scored it a hit, but I understand why it was scored an E. aGAIN, it would've been close either way.
