I was in the Drive Thru at Taco Bell....

When I let my window down to order, I heard a dispute between a fat guy and a he/she. She had a huge bulge in her pants, but I'm pretty sure it was a woman. Anyway, apparently the idiot threw her keys on the roof of the building and she was bitching at him in a rather deep voice, and I heard her say..."If you would get the 17 off of SixPackSpeak our marriage wouldn't be in the *******".

I was single at the time and thought, "damn, if that porn he is looking at was so addictive that he ruined his marriage over it, I at least need to check it out".....but then, I thought "but his girl looks like a dude and is toting a full knuckle, so maybe I shouldn't". Being the curious mind that I was, I got home and googled it while enjoying my Nachos Bell Grande. Obviously it wasn't the porn I expected, but instead a group of MSU fans discussing Marcus Campbell and calling him "Big Feces". I sprayed coke and the dog meat from my meal all over the screen, and knew I had found my new home. The rest was history.

I was a long time GP regular till I made a post about LT that garnerd me a

scathing email from Gene.

I heard there was a MSU board for pagans, so I googled MSU and Pagans and found my way here and took the lurker spot for a while.

Glad to know the pagans are still here.

I was at Ryan's Steakhouse when the unthinkable happened in the bathroom. The Move did not work the way it should have worked and my britches were filled with the deliciousness of buffet grease and fat. Fortunately I don't have to relive that story again. You guys have all heard it. I left out one part. As I waited for the wife to come back with a new set of **** and vomit free clothes, I noticed a conversation started on the inside of the stall that I had just destroyed. The first statement was "If you have an interesting story about your poo, we want to hear it. - Sixpackspeak.com". I couldn't read the responses completely because they were covered in splatter. I was able to decipher only a few words and letters; dubmass, 17, and Coach34. When I got home I decided to write up the story as best I could remember.

I have been a legend ever since that day.

Staring at the endless cascade of patronizing threads on Gene's site, such as

"we'll be Ok", "the coaches will fix it" and my favorite, "they're just kids, give them some time, that will be fine". All this after the usual SEC skull-dragging. Decided it was time for a more sane and realist approach to MSU athletics. Googled and found SPS and been here since 2004. Sometimes this board can be frustrating but it also can be great. More good times than bad.

Googled "Favorite Pizza of Derek Pegues." No but in all seriousness I googled some news on Mississippi State shortly after Croom's Winston Churchill Say speech before the LSU game in 2007. Ran across the boards and it had a lot of interesting stuff each game week including Friday Fourplay, Maddawg's Arse thread, info on the current opponent's town for away games, etc.

And I think I joined within the first week.

As an IBBC guy, I had to be a member of ALL MSU boards!

Ever have one of those times that someone asked you a question that you didn't know the answer to, but felt like you should? This is one of those times. And now I'm kind of bothered that I don't know. Kind of like hearing a song and not remembering the artist and it bugs you forever until you remember. Or someone's last name. Or first name. I knew I should've gone to bed without checking the Pack. Sleep will be practically impossible unless I can recall the genesis of my excessive lurking and limited posting on this site...

Was using a buddies laptop for some Econ homework and opened the Googles to search "Scarcity in Economics", as soon as I hit "S" StolenExTapes, SublimeDirectory, and Sixpackspeak popped up as his recent search history. 6 hours later... after I checked for any ex's tapes that may have been stolen and names in this new found directory I may have known, or at least heard about, I made my way to SPS. It was quite the let down after the first 2 sites, but they had free chat so I stayed.

Shortly after the Maine fiasco, I made my first post here. I'd been reading Jean's Page and was getting so 17ing sick of the political correctness about our ****** athletic programs(s). It was about the middle of Jackie's last year (2003?). A buddy in Memphis told me about Sixpack and I've never looked back. Got purged by HD6 in an early ethnic cleansing (was originally Trainwreck Dog) but signed up again as Resolved. I mostly read but occasionally post. So....where do I sign to pick up my prize?

A college buddy of mine who calls on our print shop here at the paper mentioned it to me in the summer of 2003, right after the board had been created. I had been reading the other board for a while and had grown weary of all the ones who seemed to dominate every thread and reply to any constructive criticism of MSU athletics with terse, almost militant, artificial glory of a program that was going down the tubes in almost every sport. Jean actually pm'd me one day to begin writing recruiting stories about Co-Lin, since we had a recruiting pipeline with the Wolfpack in late '90s-early 2000s. I declined because of time issues, nonetheless.
So, I created a username at sixpackspeak.com (I was Paperdawg back then) and began reading. I quickly found a home with others who are Bulldog fans and know this all too well: Abandon all hope ye who cheer for the maroon and white.

I think I brought Thunderclap and a couple of others on board over the years, as well. I've only posted a few times over the years, mainly because I'm too lazy to take the time, and because I'm not 'quick on my feet' like many on here are in terms of arguments. Over the years I've learned many things that I did not know about MSU athletics, mainly that we won the 1941 mythical national championship that was only mythical bc the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. Anyway, this board has been the best waste of workday time ever in the history of the internets. It beats all other social media by a country mile.
I am glad that C34 is gone for good. For the past 3 - 4 years, though I continue to read nearly everyday, I had grown very weary of his petulance, arrogance and him just being a jackass. The world of sixpackspeak is better off without him, though some of the newer posters on here are jockeying to take his place.
Happy 10th anniversary sixpackspeak-many mundane lives have been made less so just by your existence!

I joined shortly after it started, and I think RCD did indeed tell me about the board.

Hello all, My name is Jake and I'd like to thank all for allowing "IT" to happen. It was a great week on Swan Lake in preparations for my and Sammy's wedding. That was about 10 years ago. My wedding was the big "IT" and it makes me so proud that it was also the same time SixPackSpeak was created. What a way to celebrate a wedding.

10 years sure has been a long time. Come to think about it, Sammy and I were quiet young when we got hitched. I was 18 and she was probably 17. Here's a pic:


It seems odd she's wearing black but since it wasn't her first wedding, we decided to go formal. Well it's been 10 years and here we are today.



As you can see, not much has changed except the color of her hair and I'm getting to old to sport the Bama bangs. However, somebody did tell me I look like I've been sporting the Genefro lately. However as you can see, Sammy is still the most beautiful girl in the world and I think all would agree.

Although many seem to think [redacted] was the first avid reader, I still like to think I was because I never registered.

Back then I can remember great posters like crackerdog and his man crush on Quinn Snyder. I wonder what his take would be on Mizzou in the SEC. jsireland use to do a Fourplay, Mutt the Hoople was the original troll, and it seemed DS and Heydog were always mentioning a kettle being black. Extremedog needs valium. I always wanted to post like quitbeggin' in 3rd person. Maybe I'll do that now. I also like Bark... er Pariah... ummmm Ronny. I wished JR was still around to school you kids on wings and pad level. Travis... just plain travis. Who was the captain of the shortbus? Dawgman 13 or dawgpound 11? I always get them mixed up. JackassBob was my boy!!! Arnold or maybe it was Willis always had good info. Patdog was solid. Cowbell 9 still owes me a hotel room. If he can let some football players stay for free, why not me? Ol Blue. Is he still alive? He was like 93 ten years ago. RCD has always been around. Teedoff was great but I think he hit it, if you know what I mean. Dudehead was always a great poster. Always wanted to meet him. Then there was CdawgNHouston. He was one stupid SOB.

One last thing

What had happened was

It was a beautiful starry night and the moon hung low like a old man's testicle. I was in south farm selecting some of the finest shrooms cowshit could offer when I heard a rustle in the distance. I walked toward the commotion to find Bob Sagat raping and killing a girl much like he did in 1990. He glared at me and in a voice very similar to one of those Olsen kids said "Cool Dude." I immediately high tailed it out of there and in my hasty retreat ran smack into some guy. He was furious and asked me if I was "the ******* from Sixpack". I said no who are you he said "You know who I am, mother17er, I'm Derek and you are in for an asswhipping!" I immediately asked what's a "motherseventeener" which further infuriated this stranger in the night, but instead of exchanging glances, he started exchanging fierce left hooks to my face. After taking the most vicious beating of my life, I staggered home and immediately googled Sixpack, because if the baddest man I've ever met in my life was part of it, I had to be. Real story is I've known HD6 and DS forever, I'm their personal trainer.

I heard about it one night at a party in Madison, I was asked to bring something to the party, got a case of beer and a pineapple. When I showed up at the door the look on her face was amazing, it was a great night by all and she asked if I heard about the pineapple on Sixpack! After the night I had I went home and immediately googled it and have been here since then.

After multiple bans from that other free board for bashing Stans...

After being banned by the Jort wearer at both my home and work IP for bashing Stans for letting J-Money do as he pleases with no repercussions, someone sent me a link to SPS.

Here I was able to freely bash Stans without being banned, oh what a relief I felt..
Now that Stans is gone, I guess I can start bashing Mullen for not having a win over a Top 20 team.

Not much of a story...just a series of events

I graduated in 1998 from MSU-CVM, where I witnessed not ONE SINGLE FIGHT in the parking lot in four years there. Like many, my first couple of years out of school were hectic and filled with little free time; not unlike today, just for different reasons. I took a job at a different clinic in 2000 (which destroyed our football program, apparently) with a lighter emergency load and was introduced to the world of message boards. I knew of only one, @#$%spage.com, because of my father, who is literally tinted maroon and swears we never cheat, Oxford is Baghdad, Croom actually WAS Churchill, and LT deserves a statue. I frequented the board b/c there was no other place to go; the other MSU board(s) were crap, and Eggbowl.com.......shudder.... It became unbearable due to the simple fact that no dissension, logical or not, was tolerated. AT ALL. His constant response was "this is how I make my living", which is comparable to me banning people from the clinic for eating hamburgers and destroying my patients. Thankfully, I stayed on long enough to catch wind of the "other" board, which I found immediately. I read it for about a year before joining in October of 2004. I'm an admitted prude, a husband and father of three that lives a pretty boring life, and DS was great in helping me set up a filter that cleans y'all up some for me and my kid's sake (sorry, Maddawg). All that said, I have a lot of time and tuition invested in MSU, but I don't like everything that they do. This place lets you vent, plain and simple, and I swear some of y'all either work in the AD's office or have bugs planted in there...I have no idea why anyone with a brain gives money to anybody claiming to have premium info on State. I don't post very often, but I'm on here every day, multiple times, getting all the inside info I need on State.

Nice anachronistic reference, Muttster. I did indeed punch cards in the computer courses I took at MSU in the 1960's.
One of my schoolmates in EE was Robert Sheely, Clyde Q's son. (yes, I started in EE; didn't finish that path)
After graduation, he returned to MSU to help install their IBM System 360, state of the art in that day.
That same year, I moved to Huntsville to work with IBM on their contribution to the Apollo Moon program, the Instrument Unit for that vehicle.
We also had the latest 360. but it was totally 12-hole punched cards.
Processing took overnight.

Thanks for that blast from the past.

One night in Columbus, I think at the Southernnaire, when Big Ben and the Nomads were stll playing as the house band, another grad student and I saw a message scrawled on the wall in the mens' room: "For a good time, call Fairfax 8-8893 (phone number)."
He said, WTH, let's just call it for fun. Late-night decision, which is always questionable.
It was the phone number for the Columbus water-works.
Practical joke, obviously.

I don't know what you can do with that, but it's a true story.
And how the H do I remember a bogus phone number from 50 years ago?
I haven't a clue.

Since you asked about Teed-Off and dudehead, they have both posted stuff on Facebook within the past week.
They just don't do board-posting that much, any more.

I talked with Teed face-time a few months ago, at an MSU HSV alumni event.
Dudehead made a post on Wayne's Auburn Board a few days ago.

They abide.

I originally joined Six Pack about 3 months (maybe?) after it formed. It was still rather small then. I believe I insulted Gene's wife. I'm pretty sure it was in the style of Dalton answering "Is she?" to the question "What if somebody calls my momma a *****?"

That got me banned from Gene's page. I joined SPS. Gene asked me to come back. Sometime later I had a fake name and participated in the F-Bomb thread.

Nothing special

It was a dark and stormy night. Like several other current posters I was on an unnamed board, which even now, years after the event, I hesitate to name. No, I will not name it. You can think of the moderator as Gene unknown, or Anonymous Swindoll. Someone on the board threatened another poster with being expelled because he had mentioned six-pack. No web site, no "speak" just six-pack. Several others joined in the hue and cry and soon the mob was waving their digital torches and pitchforks. They seized the hapless bastard and hauled him off to the cyber stake. They read from the Rite of the Blessing of the Gasoline for the Immolation of the Heretic. Ashamedly, I squealed and ran, barely restraining myself from yelling "burn him" to divert suspicion. In my dejection I first turned to six-packs indeed. Then, during a bout of depression, I appealed to St. Google, who showed me the way.

Amen.
