to replace Woody at OC? I like that move and think he would be an immediate upgrade of about 200%. What other candidates for OC that you think would be good? Any thoughts on a Special Teams Coach?

But right now you aren't going to get an OC worth a damn to come here becuase of the pressure on the current staff. See Jackie's last batch of coordinators. They will look and see that Croom might be out really soon and not come due to the quick turnover that would probably be involved with a new coach. It didn't matter to Ron Cooper or Morris Watts.

Watts was a lot better off coming here for a year than where he is now... OC for Broken Arrow high school in OK. Cooper is probably teaching PE somwhere showing kids how to rub your belly and pat your head at the same time.

I can only assume the Peter Principle is in full effect with him and he's a very good position coach, but totally incompetent at any level above that.

Well everyone knows his ceiling then. That's all his is good for. any more responsibility than what he has now and the whole structure falls down in his hands.

when we had talked about Borges before, it's like either of us putting on a bigger shirt and telling everyone we lost weight.

I don't want anyone that has anything to do with the West Coast offense.

Remember, even Joe Lee Dunn looked good with 6 future NFL players on his side.

with the right talent. Trickett took his arse to school in 2000 & apparently he never adjusted. Hindsight being 50-50, Jackie would have been better off keeping him in '03.
