How do you make your avatar move? I'm having trouble.

I found a picture with about a 3 second loop on the animation, but when I set it to be my avatar it doesn't move. Can someone help me? I tried using the URL and uploading from my computer but neither work...what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Uncle Si ... try the item know as "save target as " instead of saving pic or video ... not sure if that will do it, but it's worth a try

My guess would be your original pixel count is too high. The maximum is 100 x 100 pixels - apparently if you upload something larger it will automatically shrink the pixel count and in that process it disables the motion.

Try now - I upped the size limit from 0.5 MB to 2 MB.

If neither of those work it may have to do with the size of the file. Try finding another gif just like it or try a different gif all together and see if one of those works. If none of that works try posting from a different browser firefox, chrome, etc.

Yep, that's it. Your GIF file pixel count is too high. Just uploaded one that was slightly larger than 100 x 100 and it stripped out the motion. When I uploaded one that was exactly 100 x 100 it works.
