that they are showing up at a battle between two unranked has-beens? Seriously? You have Bama playing Penn State and you go for the battle of mediocrity? I guess they can't go to an SEC game every week but this is just sad.

I completely understand the history involved and know that they seem to be required to fellate ND but this is absurd.

Then again, I cannot make it through the entire College Gameday anymore. I used to watch the entire broadcast but I cannot take it anymore. I usually make it about 20 minutes in and then find something else to do.

They aren't going to do it two years in a row. And it is ND-Michigan. It's not like it's Amherst vs. Holy Cross.

...ND football & Michigan football are, in & of themselves, huge, profitable corporations. "Easily recognized brand names that sell" as they would say on Wall Street.

In today's college football culture, huge, profitable corporations/football programs will always receive the most media attention, no matter their records.

That's why the NCAA will never punish Auburn for Cam Newton: Cam Newton was a one man corporate billboard that made Auburn, the SEC, the NCAA, merchandising firms & several TV networks billions of dollars.

Somebody that "special" will be protected at all costs.

that they are so into. I on the other hand, am sick and tired of the Anal Jousting the media gives ND every year. Tradition this, Tradition that....those 17ers couldn't even beat a mediocre USF team last week.
