I was thinking the same. You could tell he was pretty nervous once the game got close.
Who cares. He loves his team like you. Doesn't bother me at all and it shouldn't bother you.
Now, let’s see you call a Mississippi State game in the semi finals and not show how happy you are. I for one might take my shirt off and spin it over my head like Charles W. did at the college World Series when State won was winning. I think that dude is even a bit of an ole miss guy but he was living the dream that day.

My opinion is that ESPN should have not had him calling the game.
I agree. Let him call the Norte Dame - Penn St game. I get that they’d have him calling the the OSU-Notre Dane game though. They’re paying him a lot of money & it’s not to not call the big games. I actually thought he did ok last night though.
Didn't he have to leave Columbus and move to Nashville because OSU fans were giving him so much heck locally if we spoke critically of them?
