Might be a good point if there hours of Marcus Dupree film playing professionally in Europe.
There is hours of footage of Dupree running roughshod over Big 8 defenses on his way to 2nd team All-American honors - as a true freshmen. That is more or less the football equivalent to European basketball.

Citing statistics with an old Sabonis after two blown Achilles is also not really pertinent.
It is when you are trying to say that he is….checks notes….the 2nd best basketball center of all time. You have to compare apples to apples at some point.

No it isn’t, there are plenty of European pros. Check your notes all you want, there are basketball people , scouts and former players who agree with what I’m saying. sabonis was a highly skilled genetic freak who was never allowed to play in the us due to the Cold War. By the time he got to Portland he had severe arthritis in his knees and three Achilles surgeries. He still went for 24 ppg and 10 rpg in the post season.

I’d Put Wilt over him, that’s about it. He is bigger, stronger and More athletic than Kareem. He’s said to be the best passing big man of all time and could shoot three pointers at 7 foot 3 and 295.

No, I never said he was better than Wilt. Clips of Sabonis dominating David Robinson like a small child, you dismissed because Robinson was a ”skinny toothpick” , no Robinson was a college senior and was then NBA rookie of the year and an all star His first year in the league. That gives you an idea of what he could have done in the nba during his prime.
Don't back down man, you're on a roll

There is a stupidity / insanity combination people reach with their most mongoloid hot takes, that it becomes very obvious they are devoid of any ability to apply some form of objectivity to their argument, and aren’t willing to hear any of it from others, either.

You are clearly way past the point of no return on this one. I’m just going to congratulate you on having the courage to quadruple-down on maybe the most ridiculously idiotic take I’ve ever seen in 22 years on SPS (and that’s saying something), and wish you a good day.

Yeah but what fun would it be if he just said "Man, that's a good point. I was wrong on this one and everyone else on the planet is right."

This way is much more entertaining.

Billy Begley led the MSU basketball team in Points per 40min played back in 2004-2005. He had more points per 40 than Lawrence Roberts, Frazier, Power, Harper, etc.

What you continue to argue in this thread is akin to someone arguing that Billy Begley should have been a starter and was more effective than Roberts at scoring.

Hahaha….I’d say it’s pretty doubtful you even know who he is now, based on the BS you are peddling on here.

Round-Up is low key the 2nd greatest agricultural food additive of all time. Only DDT was better. Go watch any of a thousand YouTube videos that explain how good RoundUp could have been if it was used in the prime years of U.S. Agriculture in the late 1700’s.

There is a podcast “Pablo Torre Finds Out” that does a deep dive on the Chamberlain 100 point game. I enjoy the deep dives they do, but haven’t gotten to this one yet.

Crazy thing about that game. New York scored 147 points. And got blown out.

Wilt was a bad free throw shooter. But I think in the 100 point game -he set a record for free throws made in a game.. shooting Granny style.
