How intense is State interest on Richie Brown out of Long Beach*

is nice to lookat butthere is always a back story that tells more than the public boardsinfo. i thought the helicopter thing was very cool and i don't know what coach mullen's perspective is but while liggins may not end up in oxford, i think it very unlikely that he ends up in starkville. look i said, i recognize that i'm a visitor here and i don't try to make contentious statements. especially about things nobody knows for sure..probably even the kids. but when we're talking odds which is more or less what "ours to lose" is doing i feel comfortable challenging that. anybody is free to disagree and even if liggins does not end up in starkville it is no proof that i actually "know".

we'll see when siging day comes around, but i'll go with my accuracy from last year as a base.

It's just common sense. I mean, Liggins is from Oxford. Obviously Ole Miss has the edge. Even with Channing Ward, doesn't his mom have a tie to Ole Miss? That's probably why he'll go there. That's how most people in life operate.<div>

us an edge but our track record with oxford kids isn't all it might be. honestly i think lsu is our competition for liggins and i do not know for 100% sure he has an offer from them as a qb. ward's brother is a walkon for us now so that's his tie to us. CJ flipping was interesting. i don't see quay to msu as that startling. he did committ to us when he was maybe a sophomore but geez those are really sketchy. the mad central connection doesn't seem to me to be questionable any more than msu doing well at schools where the HC is a state fan or grad. once a team gets solidly into a high school, they have an edge i think.

it seems we do have a chance to turn will redmond. i'd like to have him.
