At this rate I think he's fired before the All-Star break. Boston hates him. Already.

He's an idiot.

I remember when Tony LaRussa retired, Valentine's name was mentioned on a Cardinals board followed by about 50 God no's.

I think the Red Sox problems run a lot deeper than just Valentine, though.

Normally, games in April don't mean much. However,I don't think it's gonna get better for Boston. Maybe Francona needed to move on, but replacing him with Valentine was a big mistake. My brother is a Cowboys/Rangers fan, and he hates Valentine as much as he hates Jerruh.

him. Boston, historically, hasn't put much of an emphasis on winning championships. What happened to the large red sox following here on six pack? I guess the train pulled out of the station and left them behind. Surprise.

were about 10 or so, and considering the overall number of MLB fans on here, it was significant.

What the hell is there to talk about. As of right now, they are horrible, and I have never been a Bobby Valentine fan. Apathy is setting in early this year.

I love it when they lose because they try to buy one every year! Makes my day when they take em on the chin.

I personally root for the Marlins and Astros. Used to travel to Houston as a child for games and also lived there. Have been a Marlins fan since Jay Powell brought me and my family down the Marlins locker room, after a game, the year they won their first World Series. He is a family friend and he was always available and friendly any time we went to any game. He also brought me into the Astros clubhouse during his stint there, which strengthened my Astros following (before I lived there).

I always pull for the underdog, lower payroll teams in MLB.
