How many people can we expect at the spring game

...if the baseball team was ranked (or even worth a ****) you could add about 3 or 4 thousand.

As excited as people are about Mullen, I wonder if having all of the practices open to the public and reported on almost daily in the Clarion Ledger has not hurt the attendance some.
The curiosity surrounding the football team is not there like it would have been if we knew nothing about the practices and how the team was doing under Mullen. You would basically have to show up at the game to get your first look at the new team and I think that would lead to a greater attendance number.
I have loved the open practices and the daily info on the team that I can find here and in the Clarion Ledger. I also think that the push from the athletic department has been fantastic. All that being said alot of the guys that I tailgate with are not going. Add in that the baseball team is terrible and I think we will be lucky to push over 10-11k.
Including my family and myself, we will account for 4 people in attendance. It should be a good bit of fun.

I haven't been to a spring game in years, but I'm going. So I bet others like myself will be too. Of course if it rains, all bets are off.
My guess is about 22,000 if the weather is nice. We really need many more, like 30,000+ because we are going to have a large number of recruits there.
