How many point blank shots can we miss?

Team is just gassed. They try but when Baxter price plays a meaningful minute that tells you something. And Tyson Cunningham gets 15 min/game. 2 years ago he is scrimmaging against girls team.

I heard an MSU women's assistant coach say in an interview sunday that one of the women's walk-ons had been practicing with the men's team because we're so short handed.

Just depressing.

Was an exciting game to watch

Hard to be overly mad about a game that means virtually nothing in the grand scheme of things (we know we're not going to a tourney this year).

Only reason I have a sour taste in my mouth is giving up the 14 point halftime lead. Our dudes fought, just ran outa steam.

Exciting wouldn't exactly be the word I would use to describe the game. It was one of the worst played games of basketball I've ever seen. The two teams combined for about 45 turnovers. That is Upward basketball bad. It really stings when you force over 20 turnovers and still lose because you turn it over even more. Our lack of a PG and inside threat continues to kill us. We missed about 5 point blank layups that could have made a big difference. Next year, unless we have another rash of injures, I don't expect Borchert, Roquez or Bloodman to get even 10 minutes a game.

Our offense is super ugly

because we expend 100% of our energy on defense (mostly in the first half). Next year, when we have a deeper bench, more bigs, and a real point guard or two, we'll start competing in games that matter.

I have to disagree on Borchert - we don't have a better forward on the team - healthy, injured, or signed. He makes some bad decisions on offense but he's a fantastic help defender, and has quick hands.
