How many teams would have won at least one of our last three games?

Besides Bama, LSU, and A&M obviously.

I am thinking Oregon, maybe K-State, I don't think Florida would beat A&M now even though they beat them the first game of the season. I think Georgia would get run off the field by all except maybe LSU on a bad day. Notre Dame would have lost all three. Florida State on a good day maybe.

average a 25 point/game margin of defeat over the last 3 games? That's probably the better question and the one that has MSU fans questioning how good we really are.

Doubtful, that's just the best excuse they can come up with to be mad about our 3 loses. If we had lost 3 close games, it would've just turned to 'Mullen can't win close games'. We were in the LSU game up until about 1:45 to go in the game. We got dominated by probably the best team in the nation, and dominated by the team that beat the best team in the nation, and we played the team that beat the team that beat the best team in the nation right down to the end. The only thing I can say for sure is that we aren't a top ten team.

As for the original question,

Kansas State - maybe
Oregon - maybe
Notre Dame - maybe
Florida - maybe
Oklahoma - maybe
Georgia - maybe
South Carolina - maybe

Nobody else is worth considering.

Guess I'll just disagree...

took the time and effort to attend both the Bama and A&M games and both of them were essentially over when the first period came to a close. Nobody can tell me I wouldn't feel differently had we competed in those games. And yes, it was better against LSU but we still aren't able to make enough plays against these better teams to have a realistic chance to win in the 4th quarter.

I respect your disagreement, but really, how big of a deal is it that three of the best teams in the country beat us easily. Did you ever believe we deserved to be in the same conversation as Alabama? LSU and Texas A&M deserve it. We didn't deserve it before we played them, and we don't now.

Do what?

So Bama would have beaten LSU and TAMU.

TAMU would have beaten BAMA and LSU.

I thought maybe I was the only one confused by that statement. Unless he's saying A&M and Bama would beat themselves, but if that's what he's implying, why not give LSU a victory over themselves? I's confused

Archdog, obviously, Bama and aTm could not have played all 3. You are saying that Bama would have beaten LSU and aTm...they didn't. LSU didn't beat Bama. aTm didn't beat LSU. They have the benefit of not playing themselves. No other team in the SEC could have played those three in three weeks and won a game. Florida beat aTm, but I don't believe they could beat them today.

I think Georgia woiuld probably win 1. Don't underestimate their defense. It's loaded. And their offense is pretty good too. Took them a while to get it going this year, but they're playing real well right now. Florida already has beaten two of those teams. Say what you want, they've already proved they can win against those teams. I think Notre Dame might have a chance to win 1 and maybe South Carolina if they still had Lattimore. That's about it though.

I caught that, too, Milo... I do think, however, that Bammer would beat both LSU and A&M "today"... unfortunately, no "do-overs".... for now...

I would have liked to have been competitive in one of the last three games....looking back that was murderers row and we were not going to win one.
