I'd just as soon not wear black. I'm not thrilled about gray.
As long as they are white or maroon, don't care. Also wish they didn't have an Adidas logo on them either, past time for the 3 stripe company to be replaced

I think it matters to recruits more than fans and our recent stuff has been awful! Anything Adidas touches becomes euro trash.
I can’t think of anything associated with Mississippi State sports that I care less about.
I’ve thought some looked great, and some were godawful but doesn’t make any difference to me what we wear.

I really don't get too caught up in it. I prefer the look we had in the Sherrill era. Get the maroon shade right. Maybe dial back the stripes; A&M can have them exclusively for all I are. The blacks or other alternate jerseys should be an absolute rarity.
Care just enough to say I don't care on a message board.
Cannot stand our current font for numbering. Wish we could do something more block-style. Other than that, though ...
I generally don't care what the uniforms look like - all just different variations of a general idea. One stripe, 3 stripes, &tate, Block M, Banner M, whatever, they don't really move the needle for me.
With one exception though. The Nickelblack 85's need to find their way into a fire asap. I despise those.

I think gray needs to be our third color. It's way more traditional, at least back into the 80's that I know of. Every team seems to have a black alternate these days, I'd rather us use gray.
Just follow 2 simple rules and the rest does not matter:
1. NO WHITE HELMETS UNLESS THE WHOLE UNIFORM IS WHITE.
2. NO MAROON PANTS. EVER.
Funny enough, when playing NCAA I break both of these rules. White Helmet, Maroon Jersey, Maroon Pants

I didn’t realize how similar they were. At least Lebby isn’t trying to turn our color into crimson
Look good play good. Adidas era has been mostly look like a clown and play like one.
I love the gray pants. It's such a clean look - both with the maroon jersey and the white jersey. I'd go exclusively to gray pants.The grey pants are solid.
In my opinion the NFL and MLB do it right. Minor tweaks every so often but for the most part, teams maintain classic colors, logos, and general design. Coincidentally, if I'm going to ever buy pro merch, it'd be a classic cap from one of those leagues

Every single week, the Grizzlies are releasing some new city design, throwback to a team that I've never heard of, or some absolute garbage that a local designer came up with. All for the purpose of making kids grab their parents when they walk into the arena and tell them how badly they need the new $125 jersey because it's only for a limited time, and next week it will be something new in the store.
Forgive me, but this is one of the times where I simply have to say 17 the players and the kids. It's the fans that have been watching games for decades and will be paying to watch games live or on TV that should matter when it comes to uniforms

This was the worst uniform ever, although they did have the helmet we all want.
I would prefer silver pants or light gray, but they are not awful.The grey pants are solid.

4. All whites are clean. It's a great look, especially against other reddish teams like (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Bama).
We should wear 1 & 2 at home. 3 & 4 on the road. That's it. Never go all-maroon.

Amazing to me that more people don't see the horrific resemblance. I mean it's like we have tried, then and now, to intentionally create the ugliest, most 1988 SWAC uniforms ever. Both corresponding to our most terrible eras in history. So apparently uniforms do have some sort of correlation.
Honestly, just getting rid of the white helmet would make a tremendous difference.
Beyond that, again, just don't be intentionally 17ing ugly. I don't even care about the &tate anymore, even though that's shlt too in my opinion (as everyone here is well aware of).
This ain't difficult.
They matter a lot more when we suck! I don't love the one in the pic, but meh.
