How much do jerseys matter to you as a fan?...

They don’t matter in any real sense, but they matter to me. I like when we wear good looking uniforms and don’t like when we wear ugly stuff.

I don’t love maroon pants with maroon tops, and I loathe maroon pants with white tops.
It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if we wore the gray pants 90 percent of the time because they look good with white or maroon. We could even do an all gray, I think Kentucky and Tennessee have done that. (Certainly others have as well)

It’s way down the list of things that matter. But it’s on there.

I have thought about this a lot. Unfortunately, I can't answer your question directly, but after seeing some other bros my age wearing their hats backwards, I can say without hesitation that I am currently over whatever the max age is.

It's kinda like porn, I know it when I see it.
Addendum: you can wear it backwards playing tennis at any age, but only if your name rhymes with shmogshmudent**

I feel like there is for sure an age limit, but I might concede some situational needs that arise at times as being OK. Bass boat and don't want to lose it, sure, flip that sucker around, just fix it when you hit troll. Unless it is a flat bill, then keep it on, face the wind as directly as possible, kiss that baby goodbye. Then go take a hard look in the mirror and tell yourself you will never buy another flat bill hat again.

NEVER wear a hat backwards unless in a boat, back of a truck, etc.
I'm inclined to give 12 and under a free pass. Teenage through 20's they should not, but if they do, it must be accompanied by some fancy jeans with heavy pocket stitching and an Ed Hardy shirt, and I'm probably going to say something "encouraging" about the look. 30+, I'm silently judging you...
