Not a euphemism, fellas. My arms are sore as hell after swinging it nonstop for hours last night. So I decided to pop it on the kitchen scale to see what this hefty sumbitch clocks in at. 1.6lbs, doesnt sound like much but swing it for a few hours in a bourbon fueled frenzy and let me know how you feel.

Have a homemade one made from 11ga carbon steel. And it's larger than the largest I've ever seen sold commercially. The ringer is also carbon steel but about 1/4" thick little donut. Incredibly loud ha...I only take it to big games because it's so heavy. Probably take it to Tennessee game. I'll have to weigh it and report back.

My wife and I have termed a name for the condition she has a doctorate of physical therapy (and a second doctorate which the kids remind me of regularly). I'm a simple ER doc, but with our vast medical knowledge we have named the condition COWBELLBOW -common inflammation of insertion of forearm flexors following a long MSU sportless summer leading up to first home football game. Stretching ice and NSAIDs should help. Another common fix is strengthening from increased football success! So long story short it's not about the size of your cowbell but conditioning my friend!

Yall lightweights just don't do enough 12 oz. or 16 oz. curls during the off season. I guess you will start wearing a golf glove to keep from getting a blister too?**
What is this drinking off season of which you speak?

I've never weighed it, but I should. It's a chunk. Switching hands is the key.

The big bell is 1.8lbs and you better bring a batting glove. You can’t ring it without major blisters.
