I just had an Ole Miss friend of mine tell me I should be ashamed for being proud of a recruiting class ranked below Vandy's...he then said that seems on par for a team that would dump Gatorade on their coach for beating a sub .500 team.

I responded: "Ole Miss's football program is as dead as the Confederacy." As fans, they take things so personal...like losing the Civil War and the Egg Bowl.

This is similar to the typical attitude I have come across. Some of these jokers just cannot stand to see a State fan have optimism and have to come up with lame putdowns to make themselves feel better about their current state of affairs. Even had one tell me their class was better than State'sbecause they got Channing Ward.

Love the username by the way.

I think this is the saddest type of insult. He'll basically say anything, including highlighting the shittiness of his own team, to take a shot at State. Cutting off his nose to spite his face, and all that.

OM fans have become the trash-talking equivalents to suicide bombers. True desperation.

I guess I should've posted about new uniforms or Home and Garden magazines instead on NSD...and thanks for killing the thread. It was inconsiderate of me to bring up Ole Miss arrogance and ignorance on this board. I should've known better.

He's the local curmudgeon. He gets his panties in a wad if someone mentions OM on this board. In his mind, it's sad to talk about OM, but OK to endlessly ***** about people talking about OM.

Sorry that I don't like it when I check the boards every morning and half the threads are about ole miss. You probably think they are stupid when they say that all we care about is beating them. Then when you get on here, 50% of the threads are about them. Half our fans are insecure little birches. We just signed a bad *** class and some people just want to talk about them. Leave that for weeks when we actually play them. I don't give a 17 about them but obviously you guys do. Keep hating. I will keep grinding and worrying about my alma mater.

Its- Not A Fan Of Ole Miss- NAFOOM.

Supposedly some folk's on the Spirit board used to say that.

As in, ESPN-Carion Ledger- ect...are not a fan of OM. That help?

ESPN did not have our last 2 recruits (ESPN 4-star and high 3-star) when they reported that, and there's nothing on the website showing OM finishing ahead of MSU.

even though I was slightly sarcastic when I asked about if nafoom = moo fan, it was still cool learning what it really meant.<div>
