I would love to see the hit Chris Hughes got suspended for and compare it to that.

I just don't see anyway possible there could be more of a flagrant foul than the first hit in that video.

Mike Slive and the SEC are a 17'n joke, not suspending him for the Bama game. Win at all costs, why don't ya? It's time for Slive to go. He is turning the SEC into a damn laughing stock, the way he so bullshitingly and unfairly handles things to protect his cash cow. It's a 17'n joke.

to use the capabilities of Yuku? I mean, it's got the ability to embed YouTube clips built into the system. It's not hard!

Then ESPN should be blasting the walls off of that, & the rest of the coaches & presidents should be petitioning the office. Football is a violent contact sport, but that is just wrong, & it even puts Fairley @ risk for injury.

That's a load of crap....if that view of the first hit was reviewed in the SEC office & they didn't suspend him, then Slive is even more scummy than I previously thought & he truly does pick his cash cow for the season & does everything he can to protect them.

Slive may be the Commish, put the presidents are going to have to slap him down

edited to add:

The SEC office said Tuesday that Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley would not be suspended for the Alabama game on Nov. 26 for any of his hits on Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.

The official statement from the SEC was that "any issues would be handled between the conference office and the institution."

The translation: Auburn has been put on alert that Fairley will be suspended if he engages in any more late hits.
was the MSU player given this type of warning prior. Article does go on to say that he was probably not suspended b/c he had received a penalty during play ???
